Description
This low-level worksheet will build your students' confidence with adjectives - and in particular the use of modifiers to give more nuanced descriptions.

Following the lead-in, there is a simple conversation with questions about a recent trip to London. Modifiers used include:

  • very
  • pretty
  • not very
  • not at all

Your students will have lots of speaking practice of the target language, including a mixer activity, where they will ask and answer questions with their classmates about a recent trip.

This is our lowest level 'want' worksheet. It covers the two most basic forms of want: I want a car and I want to buy a car.

Following the lead-in, there is a collocation matching exercise and then a simple gap-fill conversation about travel and work.
