This worksheet looks at advice for improving resumes. The layout of resumes and the information contained within will vary from country to country. However, these differences will make a good basis for discussion.

The present perfect can be tough for students. However, this business handout will help them master the use of the tense for unfinished past, using 'for' and 'since'. There is an opening gap-fill conversation followed by exercises practicing the target language. Your students will also have the opportunity to conduct a class survey, asking their classmates about their work history. This worksheet is primarily for lower-intermediate level students.
