Is the Christmas you see on TV shows on commercials similar to the Christmas your students enjoy? Is it all wonderful food and drink with well-behaved relatives?! This lesson looks at some of the stress that Christmas can cause! Following the lead-in, there is a collocation matching exercise, and then a gap fill reading. We have kept the reading reasonably easy (especially with your pre-teaching!) so your students won't be feeling too stressed themselves! Some expressions they will learn include:

This is our lowest level 'want' worksheet. It covers the two most basic forms of want: I want a car and I want to buy a car. This idiom-building worksheet is a great way to help your students sound more natural in their speech. The expressions covered include:
